Dabbing is a dance move in which a person points one arm upwards and bows their head into their other arm. The gesture is taking the world by storm since 2015. The move was first introduced in Japanese culture and known as a Sentai move since the 1970s.
Dabbing has become a global craze with celebrities over the past few years. It has become so popular that even the politicians also tried the move. During the 58th presidential election campaign in 2016, Hillary Clinton dabbed on a show. American footballer Cam Newton was at the forefront of the spreading dab sensation in the US.
Dabbing is made illegal in some countries, including Saudi Arabia. Singer Abdallah Al Shaharani was arrested in 2017 as he performed the move at a music festival.
