Minecraft
Minecraft is the best-selling video game of all time. It is a sandbox video game developed by Swedish game developer Markus Persson, inspired by various games including Infiniminer, Dwarf Fortress, and Dungeon Keeper. The game was released on November 18, 2011, by Mojang, a Swedish video game developer based in Stockholm.
The Minecraft Universe is a three-dimensional environment, where the players can explore, create structures, gather resources, and combat. Having no specific goals to accomplish, the players can freely play the game in their way.
The game won many awards until now and sold almost 180 million copies worldwide. In 2014, tech giant Microsoft bought Minecraft and its developer Mojang for US$2.5 billion.
